Towing requirements
A 14K trailer needs a heavy-duty truck rated for the trailer plus your load, the correct ball and hitch, and a working brake controller. No CDL is needed for personal use, but in Texas, towing a trailer over 10,000 lb GVWR when the combined rating is over 26,000 lb generally requires a non-CDL Class A license — text us your truck and what you're hauling and we'll confirm it's a match.
